The 7^th Edition of the Future Smart Cities conference has taken place on the 14th of October 2024, online/ virtually. The Seventh edition of the International Conference on Future Smart Cities (FSC) – 7th Edition in 2024 discussed the exchange of cutting-edge ideas, and showcased innovative solutions that will shape the cities of tomorrow. This year, the conference’s Seventh edition aims to facilitate holistic and integrated approaches to city formation, planning, and design, presenting state-of-the-art solutions and steps forward in the process.

IEREK is an international company located in Egypt and Germany, with a name that stands for International Experts of Research Enrichment and Knowledge Exchange, reflecting its mission to create opportunities for knowledge propagation in various fields, foster cultural exchange, and contribute to the development of our society.  It does so through a number of activities in publishing, international conference organization (15 – 18 annually), collaborations with world-renowned institutions, and more.

This version of the conference is consistent with his vision to address the major issues facing the world today in an attempt to enhance research and work to enhance the cultural and knowledge exchange necessary to address them. For the seventh consecutive year, FSC 2024 was organized in cooperation with the Moroccan Association for Applied Sciences and Innovation (MAASI). And the chair of the conference Simon Elias Bibri He, a Senior Researcher, at the School of Architecture, Civil, and Environmental Engineering (ENAC), Media and Design Laboratory.

This year’s edition received entries from 55 different countries around the world, with over 193 registrations and around 103 abstracts from the following countries: Jordan, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, Korea South, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Kenya, Italy, Tunisia, India, Pakistan, Togo, Iraq, Brazil, France, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, United States, Yemen, United Kingdom, Turkey ETC...

The conference also welcomed world-renowned experts in the field such as Dr. Jacob Wood, Conference Co-Chair & Associate Dean of Research at JCU Singapore and an Associate Professor of International Economics and Sustainable Development. followed by Dr. Pengji, Conference Co-Chair & Associate Professor in Business at James Cook University Singapore Campus., followed by Dr. Brahim EL BHIRI, Conference Co-Chair &Director R&D, Harmony Technolgy, Morocco., followed by Dr. Syed Hamid Hussain MADNI Speech Title: Industrial IoT: Opportunities, Issues and Challenges. The last keynote of the conference, Dr Norbert Csizmadia Phd Speech Title:The Discovery of Tomorrow - Mapping Our Future;.

The outcomes/submissions of this conference will be published in the IEREK Press Journals, and Innovation (ASTI) published by Springer Nature and fully indexed in Scopus.
